Restaurant Enrollment

Register your restaurant.

Step 1 of 2, and it takes about 3 minutes: your business details and payment. Once payment confirms we'll email you a private link to build your promotional menu — that's step 2, and you can take your time over it.

Introducing PTA Restaurant Week™

Based on the success of NYC Restaurant Week, which started in 1992 and spread throughout the US and the world, PTA Restaurant Week gives your local PTA a way to build community, raise critical funding, and put your restaurant in front of hundreds of neighborhood families — during what is otherwise a slower season for many of you.

Only local restaurants within the geographic vicinity of a participating school are invited to join that school's program. Each restaurant connects to a single PTA at a time; if you own or manage more than one location, each location connects individually to the local PTA nearest it.

Prefer to read it through first?

The step-by-step guide walks through all five steps — enrollment, payment, the menu builder, choosing a menu format, and the dish photos we need — in four pages you can hand to your kitchen.

Your Promotional Menu — Step 2

Nothing to fill in here right now. Menus are built on the next step, after payment.

As soon as your payment confirms, we'll email a private link to your menu builder. There you'll choose one of two formats and add your dishes and photos:

  • Prix-fixe menu — a single per-person price covering three courses, for lunch, dinner, or both. Minimum 2 choices in each course (2 appetizers, 2 entrées, 2 desserts) so guests have a real choice.
  • À la carte items — 3 to 6 individually priced items. Anything you like: a pizza, a burger, a sandwich, a salad, a signature dessert. Ideal for pizzerias, coffee shops, sandwich shops, and fast-casual kitchens.

Each item needs one photo — the builder walks you through it, and the Photo Submission Guide below covers the do's and don'ts. No password to remember: the emailed link is your way in, and you can reopen it to make changes until October 10, 2026. Please aim to have your menu in by October 2, 2026.

What Your Restaurant Gets for the Fee
  • A listing on the PTARW website directory, organized by state, county/district, and school
  • A print-ready entrance banner (your choice of hanging, standing, or window banner) plus a table tent card with a QR code linking straight to your promotional menu
  • A printed menu insert featuring your promotional lunch & dinner items
  • PR outreach aimed at local press, TV, radio, bloggers, and influencers
  • Co-branded PDFs, JPEGs, and PNGs for your own social media, email, and print use
  • Inclusion in PTARW's paid social advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads)
  • Individual and group features on PTARW's own social channels
Program Guidelines
  • Donate 20% of the value of your PTARW promotional menu items, for every such order during the two-week promotion, from any customer. The donation applies to the promotional item(s) only, not the rest of the check.
  • No minimum donation requirement, though donations notably low relative to business generated may prompt a re-evaluation for future editions.
  • Pay the school PTA directly within 15 days of the promotion's end, via the method the PTA specifies — PTARW never collects or holds donations.
  • Beverages, tax, and gratuities are additional and should be noted on the menu. Promotional items are optional, not mandatory.
  • Delivery-platform orders (UberEats, Postmates, etc.) are excluded from the 20% donation unless otherwise agreed with the PTA. Pick-up and take-out donations are encouraged but not required.
  • Offer the special menu to every customer without their having to ask, without limiting hours, days, or number of orders or reserved seats.
  • If you take reservations, reconfirm by phone 1–2 days ahead to reduce no-shows. Keep your wait staff informed so they can suggest alternate times or other participating restaurants if you're sold out.
  • Upload a photo of each promotional dish in the menu builder (step 2, linked to you by email after payment) — see the Photo Submission Guide below for simple phone-photo tips. Storefront and interior photos are welcome too; email those to promotion@ptarestaurantweek.com.
  • Franchise/chain restaurants aren't required to create custom dishes, though it's ideal to have a few ready to go to make prep easier for the kitchen — participation and the 20% donation are what count.
  • Each restaurant connects to a single PTA at a time. If you own or manage more than one location, each location connects individually to the PTA nearest it.
  • If your restaurant uses QR-code menus, consider a special QR code for PTARW to track engagement and add flair.
  • Deliver 2 $50 restaurant vouchers ($100 in value) to PTARW by October 2, 2026, for distribution to influencers, school PTAs, sponsors, and mystery shoppers. Vouchers are non-refundable and redeemable for PTARW promotional menu items only — not beverages, alcohol, tax, or gratuity.
