Introducing PTA Restaurant Week™

Based on the success of NYC Restaurant Week, which started in 1992 and spread throughout the US and the world, PTA Restaurant Week gives your PTA a way to build community, raise critical funding, and promote your local restaurants — during an otherwise slower season for many of them.

Participating restaurants donate 20% of the value of their promotional menu items to your PTA, for every such item ordered during the two-week window. Your PTA and school can invite any restaurant deemed appropriate, including franchises, cafés, and juice bars — each school can take up to 20 restaurant partners, and a full roster gets the best results.

Where Should Restaurant Donations Be Sent?

Restaurants pay your PTA directly — PTARW never collects or holds funds. Give restaurants one way to pay you.

What Your School & PTA Get
  • A listing on the PTARW website directory, organized by state, county/district, and school
  • Two print-ready banners — one for the car-line drop-off/pick-up, one for the school entrance
  • PR outreach aimed at local press, TV, radio, bloggers, and influencers
  • Co-branded PDFs, JPEGs, and PNGs for your own social media, email, and print use
  • Inclusion in PTARW's paid social advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads)
  • Your school featured individually, and as part of the group, on PTARW's own social channels
What Your School & PTA Do
  • Get principal approval and line up restaurant partners — each school can take up to 20.
  • Send restaurant invitations via the PTA and school (PTARW can help invite restaurants in your name).
  • Collect donations directly from restaurants — PTARW does not handle or hold funds.
  • Report each restaurant's donation total back to PTARW.
  • Display the provided banners at your highest-traffic locations — car line and entrance.
